Wednesday at 5pm - Advanced Modern Voice - All ages

Course Descriptions:

BEGINNING VOICE
For those with car or shower singing experience who want to “break the ice” in a supportive, informative, low-pressure group setting. Beginning Voice will cover breath support, centering tone and pitch, and basic techniques. Exercises will increase singing power and range. Lots of group singing.

CONTINUING VOICE
For graduates of Beginning or Intermediate Voice who want to continue working on vocal technique and interpretation. Develop personal warm-up and techniques with individual instruction (and karaoke accompaniment). Work on interpretation and performance of a solo piece. Basic listening skills will be introduced, and you’ll have a chance to perform in one of our rock or blues ensembles.
Appropriate for those with three or more months of private voice lessons.

ADVANCED MODERN VOICE

For experienced singers who are looking to perform, improvise, and learn advanced vocal techniques.  Topics covered will include advanced ear training, harmonizing, microphone techniques, stage presence, and style.
